Hanna Sillitoe Skincare is a founder-led, award-winning skincare and wellness brand based at Alderley Park, Cheshire. Our founder Hanna is a best-selling author and world-renowned expert in natural skin healing. In 2019, Hanna formulated her eponymous range of 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free skincare and supplements and was subsequently snapped up by the Dragons in the popular BBC show.
Since then, the brand has gone from strength to strength as we have become one of the most recognisable brands in the sensitive skin category. Position Overview
Due to continued expansion of the business, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our fast growing, founder-led skincare brand. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, quality control and trading operations. Reporting directly to our founder, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, exceptional organisational skills, and be a confident problem solver.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee our 3rd party fulfilment centre logistics, building a strong relationship with our Account Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Develop and implement strategies to optimise productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance
Be the senior point of contact for our supply chain and logistic suppliers, ensuring a strategic and strong partnership to maximise efficiency and minimise problems
Be the main point of contact for retail partners and manage the required day-to-day activities as we expand in this area
Be responsible for the weekly and monthly trade report, analysing stock levels and ordering stock in line with supplier lead times
Analyse and report back to our founder with strategic recommendations across fulfilment, supply chain and trading
Work closely with our founder on NPD, managing the operational processes with our suppliers
Negotiate contracts and agreements
Lead B-Corp and other accreditation processes when required
Key Skills
Proven experience in operation management roles preferably within beauty, skincare, wellness or consumer goods industries
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, manufacturing processes, and quality management systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to confidently make decisions on your own
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence
Commitment to quality, integrity, and continuous learning in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple workflows
