Elderberry Gummies

We already know elderberries are tiny nutritious powerhouses. If these grow on trees anywhere close by, here is such a fun vitamin boosting recipe you're going to love.

Infused with anti-ageing and free radical fighting properties, elderberries keep skin radiant for longer periods. Furthermore, they also act as a natural detoxifying agent and help prevent skin conditions such as breakouts, boils, and scars. They also contain significant levels of vitamin A, making them an ideal option for fading age spots and preventing or lessening wrinkles.

What better way to enjoy them than little teddy bear gummies. The perfect way for both adults & kids to get a mini skin vitamin boost each morning.

These are heaps of fun to make & they look super cute too. You'll need a teddy bear silicone tray like this one there are lots of options on Amazon. Most come with a little pipette which makes the gummies easier to make.

Next you'll need to follow my recipe for Elderberry Syrup, you can find that here. Now you want to create that jelly feel with a vegan alternative to gelatine. This is an ingredient called Agar Agar. Agar agar is a gelling agent extracted from red algae, often used in Japanese desserts.

Simply add agar agar to the syrup as per the quantity ratio listed on the jar and pipette the liquid into the mould to cool before returning to the fridge to set. They'll take an hour or two to fully set. Store in the fridge.
